Through smart sustainability efforts, we're creating better ways to build better RVs using fewer or renewable natural resources. It's a journey — we won't get there overnight. But after 50 years in the RV industry, we know all about long-term commitment and the unwavering passion it requires. This is our commitment to you—to build a better RV so that we can do a better job of protecting our planet.
At Jayco, we're proud to have one of the RV industry's top sustainability initiatives. As an industry leader, we know we have to continually set the bar for ourselves and our practices. Read about our EcoAdvantage efforts below.
By relocating recycling bins, aggressively educating employees and working with suppliers to reduce packaging, we're doing our part to become landfill free.
Through ongoing efforts, Jayco plans to drastically reduce freshwater use in its facilities. Currently, Jayco uses recycled water in all of its quality control testing.
By re-using materials, improving packaging and working with suppliers to use more sustainable components, we've made an ongoing commitment to create partnerships that will protect our planet.
Jayco is committed to consuming less energy through facility upgrades and production process improvements.
By promoting our EcoAdvantage efforts, we hope to pave the way as a sustainability leader in the RV industry. Through dialogue, education and goals, we hope RV owners, suppliers and even our competitors begin to recognize the importance of these practices and the positive effects they can have on the environment.
We've begun standardizing more processes to reduce energy use, increase efficiency and limit production waste. These initiatives will result in better products that are more energy-efficient and provide greater value to our customers.
Jayco has committed itself to building lighter weight products for better fuel economy, so that our owners tread even more lightly on the planet during their adventures.
At Jayco, we believe it's important that our sustainability efforts extend outside our manufacturing facilities. That's why we build green RVs, packed with features that consume less energy, improve gas economy and integrate sustainable materials. Here are some ways we've made our RVs green.

Whether you’re a seasoned RVer or new to the RV lifestyle, the great outdoors is a key part of every trip, which is why we want to preserve its beauty as best as we can. What most people don’t know, is that RVing can be quite eco-friendly and even help lower your travel carbon footprint. […]
5 Fuel Efficient Driving Tips By Stuart Bourdon Tip #1 – Relax Your Right Foot The best way to save gas is to relax the gas–pedal foot. Don’t drive aggressively and don’t stomp on the gas pedal. Racing to the next stop and slamming on the brakes can cost you big time! If you accelerate […]
Water conservation: Take “Navy” showers, turning the water off after an initial pre-wash rinse, and only turning it back on for the final rinse after washing up. Do the same when brushing teeth. Pack more blankets: Turn down the thermostat in your RV and use thicker blankets. You’ll burn a lot less propane and still be snug. […]
For many of us, reaching for a can or two of chemically-based bug spray has become a habit when insects come out to play at night. However, there are several environmentally-friendly and cost-effective methods to help keep bugs at bay. Below are a few suggestions. Create your own homemade bug spray by mixing equal parts […]
